Coffee and Tea in Norway
Coffee is not only a popular drink in Norway; it has a whole meal named after it! “Kaffe” is similar to the English teatime, in that it is enjoyed with cakes and sweets. Kaffe in Norway can be served anytime in the afternoon to early evening. Also served at this time is fine tea and saft, which is a fruit juice served to children. Coffee bars have increased in Norway in the past few years, especially trendy cafes. When in more rural areas in Norway, you’ll still be able to find as much coffee or tea as you like at local hotels and bed and breakfasts.
