Generally speaking, shops in Norway are open from 9am to 4pm or 5pm on weekdays, and until 7pm on Thursdays. Also, most shops in Norway are open on Saturday till 1-3pm.
Museums in Norway are often open from 10am to 3 or 4pm Tuesday through Sunday. You’ll find the post offices in Norway open on weekdays from 8am to 5pm and open till 6pm on Thursdays as well as 8pm on weekdays in Oslo. Saturdays in Norway you’ll find the post office open from 9am to 1 or 3pm.
It’s best to check in the shop window of whatever city you’re in, as these times will change.
Bank hours are similar to shop hours, but sometimes not open quite as long.
